In Carlow Town hurling club on Tuesday 17th November over 120 primary school girls from 3rd –6th class participated in Cumann CamogaÝochta na nGael
 “”Primary Skills Day””. With 5 schools and over 120 kids learning the basic skills of Camogie with the emphasis of the day being on Fun and Participation.
The girls participating received top class coaching from 16 Carlow Institute of Technology students studying on the Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Exercise course (GAA).
Skills Development was the main focus of the day and each school headed back to class with a goody bag.
 
This was a huge success and will be followed up with a Skills and Blitz Fun Day in the New Year. Pictures from the day can be seen on the Camogie Web page under “”Gallery””

A huge Thank You to the coaches from Carlow Institute of Technology who were all fantastic with the girls on the day. Also, Thank You to Colm Clear for all his help on the day and to Carlow Town Hurling Club for the use of the club grounds.
