On Wednesday 7th July the Wicklow & Carlow Camogie Clubs met in Carnew Emmett’s GAA sports field for a Fundamental Camogie Workshop with Wexford Legend George O’Connor. This was an excellent Workshop with the influential tutor George O’Connor in attendance; he took the participants through the Fundamental stages of coaching in a fun and extremely lively manner. There were 20 coaches in attendance on the night with 7 different clubs represented in total. Amongst these clubs were the newly formed Burrin Rangers of Carlow and Carnew Emmett’s of Wicklow.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable night that will be followed up with a “”Fundamental Advanced”” Workshop in the coming months.
