On sat night last 14th Nov, Cavan Camogie teams were honoured with a presentation night for their outstanding performace on the national stage this year.

There were 3 main presentations on the night:

The U14 Camogie girls were crowned 2009 Ulster Champions and their management Maggie Watters and Teresa Joyce along with Cavan Camogie Board Chair Madeline Argue presented the proud girls with their Ulster Medals.

Eddie Brady’s County girls were then honoured for their superb contribution to Cavan Camogie in 2009. This year they gained the title of All Ireland Champions in their division in a blitz that occured in Monaghan in August of this year. Team Captain Anne Donnellan along with Madeline Argue presented the All Ireland Medals to the County Girls.

A special Presentation was made to the Cavan Girls who participated in winning Ireland’s Shinty Competition against their Scottish Counterparts in October of this year. After his team’s  All – Ireland  success Crosserlough’s Eddie Brady was asked to participate in the management of this years Shinty Competition. Margaret McBride, Rosie Crowe, Lorraine Day along with Eddie Brady were presented with a beautiful award to commemorate their participation in this competition.

Cavan Camogie Board will hold their convention on Monday Dec 7th at 7pm in the Meadowview. All Club members are invited to attend.
