Clare and Kilkenny will meet in this year’s Irish Daily Star Division One League final as part of a GAA double-header fixture at Semple Stadium on this coming Sunday (May 4th) at 1.30pm. The game will be followed by the meeting of Kilkenny and Tipperary in the Allianz Division One Hurling League final. This year’s Irish Daily Star League final will broadcast live on TG4 commencing at 1.25pm.

Kilkenny last won the Division One crown in 2008 while it is Clare’s first time to reach the final of the Division One league. Clare accounted for defending champions Cork, who were aiming for three-in-a-row league titles while Kilkenny defeated Wexford in their respective semi-final.

The game is the first of a quartet of Irish Daily Star league finals on Sunday May 4th as Cork meet Down in the Division Two final in Clane; Westmeath face Dublin in the Division Three decider in Edenderry and Kerry and Limerick complete the line-up in the Division Four final in Abbeydorney.

This is the fourth year of the Irish Daily Star partnership of the Camogie National Leagues.
