FÚile na nGael – Jim Keane Memorial Trophy:
Clare clubs will battle it out next weekend in the Jim Keane Memorial Trophy to earn the right to represent Clare at FÚile na nGael. Sixmilebridge will be the venue next Saturday morning where by the afternoon the Keane Trophy will know it’s destination. Sixmilebridge are the current title holders after defeating Wolfe Tones in last year’s final.
This competition was incorporated with the u14A title last year but in order to give clubs a taste of real FÚile action it was decided to revert to the format of group games and finals. A great day’s camogie is expected as the top U14 clubs vie for the honour. Sixmilebridge, Wolfe Tones, Kilmaley, St. Joseph’s, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Broadford and Ballyea are all in the line up for the day.
