Colgan Sports sponsor U15 Development Blitz

 

The Camogie Association is delighted to announce that Colgan Sports are to sponsor the U15 Development blitz which takes place this weekend in Portlaoise (Saturday, October 13th ).

 

Colgan Sports are one of the premier sports shops in the Midlands region with branches in Portarlington, Portlaoise, Tullamore, Mountrath and Naas stocking an array of top brands including Gaelic games and camogie playing gear and equipment. 

 

Roscommon, Cavan, Mayo, Westmeath, Laois and Kerry are taking part in this weekend’s development blitz with games and coaching sessions scheduled to take place.

 

The event is part of the Association’s national roll-out of the U15 Development Programme which encourages all counties to encourage club players from within their county to take part in dedicated U15 Schools of Excellence. The emphasis is on participation and fun and developing the skills of the game along with forging a life-long enjoyment of camogie.
