Kildare Foundation Camogie Course in Ardclough GAA
Tutors Brendan Phelan, Lizzy Broderick and Ted Walsh led an excellent Foundation level coaching course last Saturday which was held at the excellent Ardclough GAA club, Co. Kildare (thank you to Ardclough GAA and Kildare Development Officer, Claire Curtis).

The tutors challenged the participants existing approach to coaching and there was a lot of learning around the subject of coaching the younger players. The 21 participants on the day, drawn from 11 different clubs, found the course very beneficial and will put the learning into practice with their younger and starting players at their clubs.

Among the participants on the course was Celbridge and Kildare intermediate soaring star and players’ player of the year nominee, Emer Reilly, who will also bring the learning back to the younger people at her club.
