Development Blitz at Ashbourne festival of Camogie Weekend
Ulster Camogie in partnership with Queens University Belfast, hosted a very successful blitz in Queens University Belfast on Friday 14th February (Main picture above). The bad weather did not dampen the spirit or the abilities of the year 8’s that were on show in Queens in the lead up to iconic Ashbourne camogie weekend. The fun and inclusive blitz had 4 schools participating, Victoria College, Dominican College, Aquinas and Colaiste Feirste. The standard of camogie by all teams was fantastic and the future for camogie in these schools is very promising. All the teams showing great team work, displayed great skills, passion and sportsmanship from their respective games.
Feedback from the schools was very positive with all schools expressing interest in another blitz running again after Easter.
