Cork Go Games Gala Finals Weekend At Camogie Headquarters in Castle Road
The finals of the Cork Camogie Go Games All County Leagues were held in the new camogie grounds in Castle Road last Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
All U8, U9, U10 & U11 finals were played over the course of the 3 days, with almost 2200 young rebels participating!
This massive logistical operation was co-ordinated by Cork Development Officer Mairead Donovan. Well done to Mairead, the Cork County Boards and all the helpers and volunteers who baked, catered and provided teas and coffees.
Well done also to the Green Card referees who officiated excellently at the finals weekend and to all the players, mentors, parents and supporters on what was a fantastic and memorable weekend for all!

24 teachers took part in the final teacher in service course in Barefield N.S. Co. Clare last week. They participated in a week long learning of Gaelic games resources and practical coaching experience and were excellent and enthusiastic participants in the camogie workshop on Friday morning!

We wish the best of luck to all teachers and students who headed back to school this week and don’t forget – a few pucks off the wall every day is the most fun homework of all!!!
