Cork’s Gemma O’Connor is the recipient of the Gala Performance Award for her display against arch rivals Tipperary in round one of the Gala All Ireland Camogie Championship.
O’Connor hit five points (four from play) as her side held off a determined Tipp challenge to win 1-16 to 0-15.
Cork face last year’s All Ireland finalists Kilkenny in round two in Pairc Ui Rinn this Saturday, June 19th. Throw in 1.00pm
