Wexford centre-back Mary Leacy scooped her second Gala Performance Award following an excellent defensive display against a lively Kilkenny side in the Gala All Ireland Camogie Semi-Final at Nowlan Park on Saturday August 14th.
The Oulart the Ballagh clubwoman was the lynchpin of a solid Wexford defence; leading her side to a 3-12 to 1-11 victory over neighbours Kilkenny.
Wexford make a return to Croke Park, having last captured the O’Duffy Cup in 2007.
