Invitation to tender: Supply of streaming services for the Camogie Association

Procurement for the supply of streaming services for the Camogie Association from January 2026 to December 2027.

 The Camogie Association is the national governing body for Camogie in Ireland and internationally (ref camogie.ie).

It administers a range of national competitions and awards/events/activities each year.

The Association is now seeking to contract with a supplier(s) for the provision of streaming services to the Camogie Association. The duration of the contract will be until end December 2027.

*The specification of our requirements is outlined below.

Objectives of tender:

  • Exposure of Camogie games
  • Deliver best value to the Camogie Association
  • Number of Events: See accompanying indicative spreadsheet based on the average annual requirements. If submissions can be made based on this – with indications of cost per type of event (single match, double-header) then final schedules and cost can be finalised annually with the successful contractor.
  • Rights of footage and their use to belong to the Camogie Association

  1. Our requirements

The Camogie Association requires the following games to be streamed:

  • Very League
    • 1A round games x5
    • 1B, 3A & 4 Finals
  • Electric Ireland Minor
    • A, A Shield, B and C Finals
  • Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Championships
    • Senior round games x5
    • Intermediate quarter-finals x2
    • Intermediate semi-finals x2
    • Premier Junior semi-finals x2
  • AIB Club
    • Senior semi-finals x2
    • Junior Final
    • Junior B Final
  • Allianz Post Primary
    • Senior A Final
    • Junior A Final
  • eir U16
    • A Final
    • A Shield Final
    • B Final
    • B Shield Final
  • U23 All-Ireland Championships
    • A Final
    • B Final
    • C Final

Other games and/or events may be required.

In addition to live streaming, The Camogie Association also requires:

  • Highlights to be clipped and provided to broadcast partners
  • Clips, highlights and post-match reaction to be clipped and supplied to The Camogie Association for social media use

  1. Proposals must address the following:
    • an overview of the implementation and operation of the services
    • Costs to be indicated exclusive of VAT and listed in € (please also indicate the additional VAT rate applicable to all work)
    • travel to/from events should be factored into your costs
    • any other associated costs should be indicated separately
    • indication of discounts offered
    • indication of usual payment terms & conditions
    • indication of how the Camogie Association account would be managed by the supplier and of ability to collaborate on projects etc.
    • contingency plan for inability to fulfil particular events etc.
    • provision of sample work as proposed by the supplier
    • Indicate if it is a consortium or group of companies submitting the response
    • Health & safety practices
    • Relevant insurances, to include public liability and media liability
    • Main contact point in relation to tender; to include title, phone number, email, address

  1. Consideration of proposals

Proposals will be evaluated by reference to the following qualification criteria:

  • Completeness of tender documentation
  • Stated ability of tenderer to meet requirements set out in this procurement request
  • Receipt of proposal on or before the closing date for submission will be considered

Only those tenders that meet these criteria will be considered eligible for inclusion in the evaluation process. The contract will be awarded on consideration of the following criteria and while the Camogie Association is not restricted to awarding the contract on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender solely, cost will be an important factor:

  • value for money
  • Key qualification, experience in delivery and track record in similar provision of products
  • ability to deliver key outputs on time
  • costs breakdown
  • justification of proposed costs
  • best use of and availability of quality resources
  • approach to management of Camogie Association account

Confidentiality

Upon receipt of this document the recipient undertakes to the Camogie Association that they will treat it as confidential and all other information shared throughout the procurement process and will not disclose at any time such information to any person, firm or company (other than the recipient’s professional advisers or as required by a court of law) or to the media. The recipient agrees that their company will not at any time give any interviews or authorize any publicity relating to this document or the procurement process.
