The fixture details for the Irish Daily Star Division 1 National League Semi-Finals were confirmed today by the Camogie Association.

In order to avoid a National League semi-finals fixture clash for Limerick’s Division 1 Camogie team and Division 4 Football team, the Camogie Association has rearranged the Limerick v Galway Division 1 semi-final with full agreement from the Galway Division 1 Camogie team. This will now be contested in St. Brendan’s Park, Birr, at 4.00 p.m. on Saturday 16th April 2016.

The significance of both games is huge for the dual players involved.

The Camogie Association are committed to ensuring that fixture clashes for dual players can be avoided where possible in an effort to promote positive player welfare.

Earlier in April, the Camogie Association also moved the Cork v Limerick National League playoff to a Saturday to avoid a clash with a LGFA fixture.

The second semi-final is Tipperary v Kilkenny and will be played in the WIT Grounds Carriganore, Waterford, at 2.00 p.m. on Sunday 17th April.
