We take a quick look at the Irish Daily Star National League standings ahead of this weekend’s jam-packed fixture list.

In Division 1, Limerick look to build off a tough draw against Galway as they play host to a Tipperary side keen to put points on the board. Wexford open their League campaign at home against Offaly, who look to maintain their position on top of Group 1. Meanwhile, in Group 2, a newly revitalised Dublin team look to stay top of the table as they travel to Clare, who will be eager to bounce back after a tough loss to Cork a fortnight ago. Cork, last year’s All-Ireland Champions, will host Kilkenny, last year’s League Champions, in what is set to be a thriller down in UCC.

Division 2 sees top of Group 1, Laois, take on Antrim who suffered a narrow loss to Galway last time out. Wexford take on Kildare in a bottom of Group 1 clash with both sides looking to put points on the board. Galway play host to Westmeath who are both competing with Laois to make it two wins out of two. Meanwhile in Group 2, Down face Meath with both sides yet to have points on the board and Cork host an impressive Waterford, who made light work of Tipperary last time out. Tipperary look to bounce back after that tough loss, but a tough test awaits them as they host Kilkenny.

Division 3 will see Armagh try to move off the bottom of the table against a Dublin side who will go top of the table with a win against the Ulster side. Roscommon, who drew with the Dubs in the capital last time out, play host to a Limerick side eager to get a win in their League opener.

No doubt it’s an action packed weekend of Camogie. Get yourselves to one of the games to cheer on your county and don’t forget to pick up a copy of Monday’s Irish Daily Star for a round-up of the action!
