Cork face Down this Sunday in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate Chmapionship Final in Croke Park. The match thrwos-in at 2pm with the Rebels looking to make amends for their Final losses in 2016 and 2017. We caught up with Cork captain Sarah Harrington ahead of what promises to be a thrilling match.

Q. So, Sarah, coming into your match against Down, how have preparations been going?
"Preparations have been going brilliantly in the run up to the Final. The group has been training extremely hard over the last couple of weeks. We’re approaching the game just as we always would. We’re not looking to change anything and hopefully that will see us getting the right result this season."

Q. Has your mindset changed at all coming into what promises to be a thrilling encounter against a strong Down side?
"No to be honest I don’t think it has. We’ve played Down a number of times over the last few years and we know what we as a group need to do. We know Down are a very physical and strong side, so we know we have to be prepared to match that on the day. I suppose we’re just using the mindset that it’s any other game and I know that can be difficult coming in to play in a massive stadium like Croke Park but we’re just looking to remain calm and go out and play our best Camogie."

Q. How does your team plan on managing your emotions having come so close in the last two years?
"Yes it’s definitely been heartbreak for us for the last few years so that has certainly been tough. I think on the morning of the game we might feel that kind of pressure and emotion but once we get to the stadium I’m hoping we can put all of that aside and just focus on ourselves and having a different emotion come full-time."
