JOB OPPORTUNITY: Commercial Manager (Maternity Cover)
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for maximising income opportunities from a variety of sources including sponsorship, partnerships, merchandising, licencing, events and ticket sales. They will develop and manage programmes to meet targets for attendances at National Championship fixtures and for maximising income opportunities from ticketing. The Commercial Manager will also foster and maintain strong relationships with existing key sponsors. The role is part-time with a competitive salary commensurate with experience and is offered on a fixed-term basis arising due to maternity leave.
The Camogie Association is seeking an experienced, commercially minded marketer with the ability to position Camogie as a leading national sport and raise its profile among corporates and the public. The post-holder will act as a brand guardian for the Association in a range of settings at club, county, provincial and international levels as well as at national level with commercial partners and sponsors. The successful candidate will have significant experience in devising and implementing successful marketing campaigns, including building audience levels. They will also possess excellent relationship management skills and will be comfortable with securing support from corporate sponsors and partners.
