John West National and Regional Feile
The John West National Feile camogie competition took place in Cork and Kerry over the weekend of the 7th, 8th and 9th of June. Over the weekend 96 teams took part with over 2,200 girls playing games and making new friends in what is always one of the highlights of the year from a participating players perspective.
On Saturday the 8th of June venues in Dublin, Meath, Fermanagh and Kilkenny played host to the regional Feile competition. This was a very competitive and exciting competition for those who took part. Nearly 700 players participated over the four venues with 48 games in total being played.
The Feile skills competition takes place on Saturday the 22nd of June in the National GAA centre of Excellence Abbotstown. This promises to be a fantastic day for all involved with all the skills of camogie on display. 26 girls from all over Ireland will be representing their Club and County with distinction on the day.
