The inaugural National Under 17 Competition took place on Saturday October 22nd in the National GAA Games Development Centre in Dublin.
Kilkenny defeated Galway in the cup final on a score line of 1-15 to 2-6.
Meath defeated Carlow in the Shield final on a score line of 6-8 to 1-5.

Well done to all teams who took part on the day. Not only did teams play matches but also they received a talk on being an intercounty player and also a talk on nutrition.

Camogie Level 2 ‘Solo to Success’ underway
This is the 3rd year of the new Level 2 ‘Solo to Success’ Coaching Course.
17 coaches are completing the course being held in Ardclough in Kildare.
Over the first weekend coaches completed modules on the concepts of Assist and Challenge and Reflection. They also completed modules on Observation, Games based coaching and practical coaching workshop.
The next weekend of course takes place on Nov 12th and 13th.

Camogie4Teens Clare
Camogie for Teens Clare continued on Monday 24th October with referee Ann Marie McGann delivering the Go Games referee workshop. The girls will get the opportunity to use their new skills on Thursday November 10th at a schools blitz in St. Flannans in Ennis. There are 28 girls completing the Camogie4Teens Course in Clare.

#GAAyouth Forum coming up this weekend
Best of luck to all the camogie players attending the GAA Youth Forum this weekend in Croke Park. The Youth forum is on Saturday October 29th in Croke Park and is booked out!
