Leinster Club Summer Sevens
The first regional day of the Leinster Club Summer Sevens takes place this weekend in Tinryland GAA Club, Carlow on Sunday 23rd June and we welcome the sixteen u16 teams from across the province who are attending. It will be full morning and afternoon of camogie and we hope all enjoy the action and day out with the club. The second regional day will take place on Saturday July 13th 2019 in Killucan GAA, Westmeath and already we have a host of clubs registered to come along at u16 and u21 level.
The online register for the blitz day on the 13th July 2019 is now re-opened and will take accept any club interested in coming along. You can register your club to attend on the link below and Sabrina Larkin will be in touch with all clubs registered in the first week of July with timings, fixtures etc. Entries close on Sunday 7th July.
This 7’s initiative is open to all non-county players within the clubs and is designed to give games to clubs who may not have fixtures when the intercounty scene is in action.
Eligibility according to age will be in accordance with rule 28.4.
For u16 – players must be over 12 and under 16 years and not be playing within the county u14, u15 and u16 squads.
For u21 – we will use Adult ruling for eligibility whereby players must be over 15 and not playing county u16/17/Minor/Adult.
Those who qualify will progress onto the Finals day in August.
