Coach Upskilling
On Saturday last, 20th April, Wexford hosted David Herity for a Goalkeeping Masterclass in Marshalstown with the underage inter-county goalies in attendance and the coaches from around the clubs of the county looking on and hopefully getting a few ideas to bring back to the club for the Summer ahead. Many thanks to the venue for hosting and David for his coaching.
Also, on Saturday, Kinnitty was the venue for the Offaly half foundation coaching course, with 9 coaches from 4 clubs put through their paces in the Summer sunshine.
Our coaching courses in Leinster finishes with a Foundation course next Saturday 27th April in Ballacolla, Co.Laois under the delivery from Donal Ryan, tutor.
Easter Camps
Held in Kilcoole GAA Club, Wicklows first camogie camp of 2019 took place over the first week of Easter. With 42 girls in attendance from Kilcoole, Eire Og Greystones and Annacurra camogie club. Over the 3 days, the girls enjoyed coaching, games and challenges, with each girl going home with a precious new sliotar to continue the practice!! Well done to all participants and organisers on a fantastic camp.

Wexford conclude their Camogie4Teens
On Thursday 18th April, the group of Wexford teenagers involved in the 2019 Camogie4Teens project within the county concluded their series of workshops with an Event Management workshop delivered by Sabrina Larkin. This will now go towards helping the girls to organise their end of programme event of an underage blitz in the coming weeks. Well done to all the participants on your coaching, refereeing, PR and event management upskilling. Many thanks also to those who delivered the sessions including South East Radio, Liz Gardiner, Kate Kelly, Justin Heffernan, Ted Walsh. Also, thanks to Bobby Tierney and Joe Roche for the organisation of the programme over the number of weeks.

Caman to Leinster Open for Registrations
Caman to Leinster will take place on SUNDAY 26TH MAY in Abbottstown, Dublin and is open for registrations from u12 club camogie teams across Leinster until Wednesday 8th May. You can register your interest in attending on the link below.
