This weekend, there are another round of crucial games in place with All Ireland Champions Wexford and Clare, the pick of a top bill. Throw-in is at 5.00pm in Wexford Park with highlights on RTE The Sunday Game. The championship update is as follows.

Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Championship
Group 1
Clare, Derry, Galway, Kilkenny, Waterford

Group 2
Cork, Dublin, Offaly, Tipperary

With 1 round remaining, Kilkenny have played all their games and have full points from their 4 games which means they will go straight into the semi finals. Galway are on 4 points and providing they beat Derry this weekend, they will qualify as the 2nd placed team in group 2. Wexford and Clare will play off for the 3rd place position in group 1 with the losers of that game knocked out.

Group 2 sees Cork playing Offaly to decide who will go straight to the semi finals. The runner up in that game will go through as 2nd placed team with the winners of Tipp v Dublin taking the last place in the quarter finals as 3rd placed team in group 2

Quarter Finals
2nd placed team in group 1 v 3rd placed team in group 2
2nd placed team in group 1 v 3rd placed team in group 1
There will be an open draw for Semi Finals

Liberty Insurance Intermediate Camogie Championship

Group 1
Antrim, Cork, Kilkenny, Limerick, Waterford

Group 2
Galway, Meath, Tipperary, Wexford

In group 1 Limerick are topping the group with 6 points after playing all of their round games. The remaining place will be decided after Saturday’s games as Waterford are currently on 4 points with Cork and Antrim on 3 points each. If Waterford beat Antrim they will be on the same points as Limerick but will take the top spot going through to the semi finals as they beat Limerick in the round games. There is not much between the 3 teams fighting for the remaining semi final spot so this weekend will be interesting

Galway are on top in group 2 with 4 points. Meath and Tipperary are on 2 points each. There is one more round and from looking at previous results it looks like Galway might beat Tipperary and Meath are strongly fancied to defeat Wexford who are currently on 0 points. This would leave Galway and Meath progressing from Group 2.

Semi Finals
Winner Grp 1 v Runner Up Grp 2
Winner Grp 2 v Runner Up Grp 1
Liberty Insurance Premier Junior Camogie Championship

Group
Armagh, Down, Kildare, Laois, Roscommon, Westmeath

There are 2 rounds to go in this championship. Laois are on 6 points, with Westmeath, Down and Kildare on 4 points each. Going on previous results it appears that the semi final pairings are mostly likely to be Laois v Westmeath and Down v Kildare.

Semi Finals

Liberty Insurance Junior B Camogie Championship

Kerry are on 6 points with Meath and Cill Dara on 4 each. Meath and Cill Dara will play this weekend. If Cill Dara win this game Meath will need to beat Kerry in the final round next weekend to ensure a 3 way play-off for the final.
