Another important weekend in the Liberty Insurance Camogie Championship, with much to play for across all five grades; Senior, Intermediate, Premier Junior, Junior A & B. Below is the update on this year's championship with much at stake for many teams, who are looking to make the latter stages of their respective competition, with Saturday and Sunday's games of paramount importance.

Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Championship
Group 1
Clare, Derry, Galway, Kilkenny, Waterford

Group 2
Cork, Dublin, Offaly, Tipperary

With 2 rounds to go, Kilkenny are on 6 points and are 4 points clear of Clare, Wexford and Galway in Group 1. If Kilkenny beat Wexford this weekend they are through to the semi finals. Derry will not progress at this stage and one of either Galway, Wexford and Clare will also be knocked out after the final round game on July 20th.

Cork and Offaly will progress in group 2. Whoever wins between them on the 20th July will go straight through to the semi final and the runners up will go to quarter finals. The winner of Dublin v Tipperary, also on the 20th will progress to the quarter finals as the 3rd placed team and for the losers it will be the end of their championship run for 2013.

Quarter Finals
2nd placed team in group 1 v 3rd placed team in group 2
2nd placed team in group 1 v 3rd placed team in group 1

There will be an open draw for Semi Finals

Liberty Insurance Intermediate Camogie Championship

Group 1
Antrim, Cork, Kilkenny, Limerick, Waterford

Group 2
Galway, Meath, Tipperary, Wexford

In group 1 Limerick and Waterford are on 4 points each. They play each other this weekend. Cork are on 3 points. Limerick need to win this weekend as this is their final round game whereas both Cork and Waterford are out again on the 20th of July.

Galway are on top in group 2 with 4 points. Meath and Tipperary are on 2 points each. There is one more round and from looking at previous results it looks like Galway might beat Tipp and Meath should beat Wexford who are currently on 0 points. This would leave Galway and Meath progressing from Group 2.
