Blackhall Gaels 2-5 Kilmessan 4-14

Blackhall will be disappointed with their second half performance in this encounter.  The teams traded scores in the first half and it was all to play for going into the second period.  Kilmessan played some excellent camogie in the second half, taking some fine long range scores from play.  Blackhall however were unable to raise their game and did little to trouble the Kilmessan defence.  Kilmessan ran out comfortable winners with inspiring performances from Aileen Donnelly and Frances Lynch at midfield and Anne-Marie Dennehy in the inside forward line.  Jane Dolan did her best to keep Blackhall in contention scoring all of her teams scores, most of which came from placed balls.
