Olympian Annalise Murphy has been confirmed as the special guest at this year’s Camogie All Stars in association with O’Neills at Citywest on November 3rd.

Annalise made her Olympic sailing debut at the 2012 London games securing a fourth place finish in the Laser Radial class, after recording four consecutive wins.

Speaking about today’s announcement President of the Camogie Association Aileen Lawlor said:

“The Camogie Association is delighted to announce Annalise Murphy as their special guest at the upcoming All Stars in Citywest on November 3rd.

Earlier this year, Annalise lifted the nation as we watched with pride and support when she competed in the London Olympics in the Laser Radial class, winning her first four races in Weymouth and finishing fourth overall. It was marked as the best result ever by an Irish female sailor and the best overall since 1980.

Already, a hugely accomplished sailor on the national and international stages, Annalise is a fantastic role model for female athletes and we are honoured to have her as our guest.”

This year’s black tie event will be presented by RTÉ broadcasters Michael Lyster and Evanne Ní Chuilinn.

The nominations for Manager of the Year have also been confirmed with Wexford supremo JJ Doyle; Derry’s All Ireland winning manager John Mullan and John Davis, who led Meath to Premier Junior glory in contention for the prestigious accolade.
