John Mullins hurling coach in Sligo presents the girls who won Skills competitions within their schools with their prizes. The girls are from a number of national schools in Sligo including Rockfield National school, Cloonacool NS, Strandhill NS, Gaelscoil Chnoc na RÚ , Rathcormack NS among others.
Coaches and players from the Western Gaels and Queen Maeve clubs joined the skills winners for a training session on the evening. The coaches helped out and picked up a few coaching tips on the night. Over 40 girls attended and learned the skills of the game as well as having fun. Thanks to Kevinsfort for the venue and John Mullins for his help with coaching on the night. Thanks to clubs and schools who sent players and to the coaches that attended on the night.
