Although the Academic Year of 2020/21 has seen limited Camogie activity across Post Primary pitches around the country, students, coaches and teachers have been keeping active in new and vibrant ways through engagement with fellow students, staff, club and county mates through the various Camogie related challenges we have become so aware of across social medias and beyond.

As we look forward to a return to the pitch, The Camogie Association, The Post-Primary Camogie Council and Tesco have come together to present the Post-Primary School Camogie Competition 2021 which is aimed at Second-Level students across the island of Ireland.

The competition is spread across two sections; A (11/12years of age) and B (13/14 years of age) and can be entered by individuals or groups of up to four individuals. Formats of entry span across written word, art depiction and audio/visual modalities. A selection of five topics offer an opportunity for students to engage with an area of Camogie which they feel is most relevant or unique when considering their own context.

Entries will be adjudicated over by a representative of the Post-Primary Camogie Council, Tesco Ireland and The Camogie Association staff team. Entries will be judged in light of individuality and relevance to school’s/team’s own unique context.

Closing date for entries: Friday 14th May 2021
