AIB All-Ireland Junior Club Championships Final
Four Roads (Roscommon) v Kilmessan (Meath), Páirc Tailteann, Navan, Co. Meath, 2.15pm, M. Ryan (Tipperary)
2010 All-Ireland champions Four Roads won the Roscommon County Championship by defeating Athleague and overcame a strong challenge from Tara of London in the AIB All-Ireland Junior Club Championship Preliminary Round. They then defeated Cavan’s Crosserlough in the Semi-Final to make it to the Final in what is a repeat of the 2014 Final in which the Roscommon side narrowly lost on the day.
Kilmessan won the Leinster Junior Club Championship, defeating Raharney of Westmeath and then defeated Kerry’s Clanmaurice in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. Reigning All-Ireland champions, Kilmessan won their first All-Ireland Junior Club Championship title in 2014 and are seeking to make it a third title and move up to Intermediate level.
AIB All-Ireland Junior B Club Championships Final
Clontibret (Monaghan) v Ratoath (Meath), Páirc Tailteann, Navan, Co. Meath, 12.30pm, C. Quinlan (Galway)
Clontibret reached the Final following victory over Armagh’s Crossmaglen to win the Ulster title before they then defeated Britain’s Fullen Gaels in the Semi-Final.
Ratoath defeated na Brídeoga of Mayo in the Semi-Final having claimed the Leinster title as they defeated Delvin of Westmeath. Both sides will be aiming to win the inaugural staging of this competition.
