The coming weeks see an action packed third level schedule. This week has seen four teams navigate their way successfully through the Purcell Qualifiers.
NUI Maynooth beat Sligo IT and they will now take on either Dundalk IT or IT Tralee in the quarter finals. NUI Maynooth have been joined by Trinity College Dublin and Dublin IT who recorded victories over GMIT and Carlow IT respectively.
Under lights at the excellent facilities in Dundalk IT, Queens were on the right side of the result against St Pat’s Drumcondra. Queens will now take on tournament favourites Mary I in what promises to be an enthralling encounter and the winners of this match will be favourites for the Cup.
The final two places in the Purcell will be fought out between LIT who play DCU at home and Dundalk IT who take on IT Tralee. These matches will be played on Monday and Wednesday of the coming week, DCU and IT Tralee should have their names in the quarter finals next weekend.

NUIM –v- DKIT/IT Tralee
LIT/DUC –v- Gardai College
Trinity College Dublin –v- Dublin IT
Queens –v- Mary I
