Tara Camogie Club, London are holding another 7-a-side camogie tournament on Saturday 18 April 2009, again at Tir Chonaill Park, Greenford.
Whilst we haven’t finalised all the details yet, it’s expected that the format will be the same as previous year, in plate and cup competitions at Junior and Senior grades.
It’s a one day event with games starting approximately 10am Saturday morning.
The tournament is 7-a-side with 3 subs – complete team sheets on the morning.
Irish visiting teams will be classed as Senior grade.
Not sure yet of numbers but would be hoping for at least 2 groups of 4/5 (as last time), play group games in the morning and then split into Cup and Plate competitions (knockout) afterwards. [All dependent on final numbers etc and will be confirmed nearer the time].
Hot food is available at the Clubhouse throughout the day.
Presentations will take place after the finals in the Clubhouse, followed by evening/night entertainment. There are showers and a Bar at the Clubhouse so basically we spend the whole day and night on location!!

The Bridge Hotel, Greenford is the nearest accommodation to the actual grounds. Many teams have stayed there in the past and its fairly reasonable. www.thebridgehotel.com
