
The Camogie Association and Very are delighted to launch the 2025 Very Camogie Leagues.
This year’s competition promises to be an exciting showcase of talent, passion, and dedication to the game. Attending today’s launch were Caoimhe McCrossan (Westmeath), Ciara Hill (Armagh captain), Caoimhe Maher (Tipperary), Niamh Gannon (Dublin), Kellyann Doyle (Kilkenny vice–captain), Meabh Cahalane (Cork captain) and Aoife Donohoe (Galway captain) who joined to celebrate the start of what is set to be another thrilling season of camogie.
Very continues its commitment to honouring the achievements of players both on and off the field, while spotlighting the unique magic and spirit that define our beloved sport.
The 2024 Very Camogie League Division 1A Champions Tipperary will defend their title on Saturday February 22nd against Dublin. Kilkenny play Galway and Cork face Waterford in an all Munster clash on the same day.
The Very Camogie League action commences the previous weekend on Saturday, February 15th, with an exciting line–up of matches in Division 1B:
•Down vs. Limerick
•Antrim vs. Wexford
•Clare vs. Westmeath
The action continues each week thereafter, setting the stage for a competitive competition across all 4 divisions culminating in the league finals:
•Division 1B Final – Saturday, March 29th
•Division 3A & Division 4 Finals – Saturday, April 12th
•Division 1A & Division 2A Finals – Sunday, April 13th
