The GAA Games Development Conference in conjunction with Camogie, Handball, Ladies Football and Rounders was launched in Croke Park by representatives from all of the GAA family of Gaelic Games on Wednesday November 3rd.

Conference Theme: “”Coaching Children: Building a Platform for Lifelong Involvement in Gaelic games

Venue: Croke Park

Date: Saturday, December 4th 2010

Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm

The GAA Games Development Conference is the largest conference of its kind, in 2009 attracting over 600 delegates from throughout Ireland, Europe and North America. This is the 8th annual GAA Games Development Conference, and the 5th to be held in Croke Park stadium. This years Conference will take place on Saturday December 4th.

The child theme is the focus for this years conference and Camogie would encourage all our members to consider attending this event especially those who are involved in coaching or working with children.  The conference will empower you with new ideas to take back to your clubs and assist in the long term development of our Camogie players.

This conference is ideal for coaches, parents, teachers, young adult coaches. We would ask all clubs to have  representatives at the conference and also to consider  subsiding the cost of any coach to attend this conference on behalf of the club.

The 2010 Conference will be a combination of Key Note and Parallel Break Out sessions with special demonstrations of Hurling, Camogie, Gaelic football, Rounders and Handball activities for children taking place throughout the stadium.
