Ulster Coach Academy
 
The Ulster Coach Academy has commenced and the third and final weekend will be on 16th November. Armagh, Cavan, Down, Derry and Antrim have coaches in attendance. The coaches have received great tutoring and guidance from a number of experienced coaches and Players that will aid them in their own coaching roles.
 
Ulster Coaching Conference
 
The 16th O’Neill’s Ulster GAA Coaching and Games Development Conference will take place on Saturday 9th November at the Derry GAA Centre, Owenbeg.  The theme of this year’s conference will focus on ‘Developing Hurling and Camogie Performance.’ The format of the conference will take a new look in 2019, with two on-pitch practical sessions being delivered on how to optimise your training to make your team more effective.  This will be followed by a discussion with the coaches – Derek McGrath, Paudie Murray and Kevin Murray – on the breakdown of their session. Winter CDP
 
October has been busy with Safeguarding and Foundation Coaching Courses throughout the counties. The final courses will be in Antrim and Donegal on the W/E 1st/2nd Nov. Congratulations to all the coaches and volunteers who attended and are now up to date with their basic coaching requirements.
