It is a big weekend for Ulster Camogie as the Ulster Senior “”B”” and Ulster Intermediate Club Championships draw to a close.

In the Senior “”B”” final holders Lavey from Derry will battle it out with Armagh‘s Keady for the chance to progress to the qualifying stages of the Junior All-Ireland Championship.

Lavey overcame Down champions Clonduff in the semi-final, while Keady came through a sterner test with Eglish of Tyrone.

“”We’re looking forward to the game against Keady, they showed great character to overcome Eglish. We know that we will have to be at our best on Sunday, our ultimate goal is to progress in the competition and hopefully go one better than last season,”” said Lavey coach Orla Downey.

In the Intermediate final Castletara of Cavan will face Antrim’s Loughgeil.

Loughiel defeated Derry neighbours Slaughtneil IIs in a thrilling encounter at Lougheil last weekend.

Castletara were made to work for their Final place against Armagh‘s Dereynoose in the other semi-final, a goal at the death sealing a one point victory for the Canvan side.
