Michelle Hearne and Rose-Marie Breen have announced their retirements from the inter-county scene.
The loyal servants and close friends were two notable absentees at a recent meeting where manager J.J. Doyle revealed his full backroom team. The Marshalstown native with camogie links to Naomh +anna and, in more recent times, Bannow-Ballymitty, will be assisted by selectors Tommy Roche (Marshalstown) and Joe Brennan (Naomh +anna).
The physical training will be undertaken by Monaghan native Gerry McQuaid, while Fr. Odhran Furlong completes the backroom team.
Michelle Hearne and Rose-Marie Breen first came to prominence with the All-Ireland winning Under-16 team of 1995, and they reached the pinnacle of their distinguished careers with All-Ireland Senior success in 2007.
