Wexford Camogie team launch All Ireland winning book

This Saturday sees the release of a new book charting the award winning season of Gala All-Ireland Senior Camogie champions Wexford. Compiled by Wexford People sports writer Dean Goodison, the publication is illuminated by excerpts written by members of both Wexford squads.

All-Ireland winning captain Una Leacy gives her views on the year, Karen Atkinson discusses the pain of only getting 12 minutes of an All-Ireland final while Ciara O’Connor reflects on a great season for the intermediates.

A smattering of All-Ireland winners will be on hand at the following venues to sign copies of the book, which is priced at a more-than-reasonable €10, and pose for the odd photo on this Saturday 18th: Byrnes Wexford Bookshop, 31 North Main Street Wexford at 12 noon, Byrnes Enniscorthy Bookshop, 2 Court Street, Enniscorthy at 2pm and Byrnes Bookstore and World of Wonder, 19-20 Main Street, Gorey at 3.30pm. This will not only make a lovely Christmas present but will also be an important record of a fantastic year.

If you are not able to get to Wexford to attend the æmeet and greet’ with players and managers there is another way to get your hands on the book.
