Wexford Camogie development, recently established 4 development districts and assoicated district co-ordinators. The development group have wasted no time in getting down to work and organised an u13 development program. Each club was asked to send 3 girls, which gave approx 90 participants. The focus was on skill development and fun over a 5 week period. Within the districts different clubs hosted the training each week and mentors from the clubs were encouraged to attend. All the girls came together for a blitz style day on week six. On the day team selection for the 12-aside games was from a hat and ensured girls mixed with other clubs and districts. A great day was had by all and an added bonus was the succes of the county teams the day before in retaining their league titles. Many thanks to the Naomh Eanna club for hosting, to all the parents and clubs for supporting and to the district co-ordinators for organising the programme. The district co-ordinators are Amanda Bolger-Wexford, Ailish Whitty-New Ross, Ann Kelly-Enniscorthy, Joe Roche & Ger Redmond-Gorey. A special word of Thanks to Noel Wilson Wexford County Development Officer.
